Vibrant abstract strokes of green, blue, and red create a lively, nature-inspired scene. The bold, textured lines suggest the presence of foliage and flowers.
From the artist: The Uphill Path is often worth the struggle, even though it can seem too disorientating and chaotic. Challenges can hold beauty and sometime the struggle is worth the scene we are promised on the other side. (Created with oil pastel on paper in December, 2024.)
Dianna is an artist, fiction author, and an all-round creative having worked in many fields of the literary and visual arts. She's currently studying for a Master of Arts in Illustration. Living in England, she uses a sketchy approach to her art to create bold, vibrant, and youthful images with ink, graphite, and watercolours (and sometimes mixed media), translating what she sees in her environment into amusing, thoughtful, or peaceful expressions. Her 'naive' style has a knack for brightening any room and encouraging a second look. Follow her on social media for her latest scribbles, some of which make it in onto here. Thank you for visiting!
